breast cancer awareness month

I want to keep the awareness out there, that October is “Breast Cancer Awareness” month.  There was the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure that just happened a couple weeks ago.  Great read story about Susan G. Komen.  Also, another great site for Breast Cancer Awareness is “Pink for October”

The reason I am bringing this to light, is that my wife, Angie Jean, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005.  Thank God she has survived it, through chemotherapy, and multiple surgeries over a 2 year period.  Today she is healthy, with a full head of hair(that is getting long too) and is very positive about the outlook of our future.  She donated her hair to the “locks of love” foundation prior to the chemotherapy treatments.   This year has been a real good year for both of us as we have traveled the globe, to London, Paris and Italy.  We are both grateful that this is behind us, but never forgetting those who are still being diagnosed with cancer daily and those who live with it daily as well.

Let’s pray that there is a Cure in our horizon.
