Jesus

I want to say a quick thing about this person known to the world as Jesus.  You must believe ONLY 2 things about who He says He is.  He is either a fool/crazy man/sick in the head, to say and make the claims He did about himself OR you believe in who He says He is, Son of God, The Messiah, The Way, Truth & Life.  He didn’t leave you any other option but to believe either.  His claims of  “I and the Father are one” and “If you know/seen me you will know/see the Father too,” and on and on throughout the New Testament.

In a world that thinks, “Oh Jesus was a good guy or a disciple or a messenger of God,” there is NO WAY you can say those things about Him.  He is who He says He is or He is a psycho.  It’s your choice to believe one or the other, but outside of those 2 options, He didn’t leave you with any other choice.

I hope you will get to know this man or as I call Him, My Lord and Savior Jesus.  My King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Blessed be the name of Jesus Christ always and forever, Amen!

My view

I would rather die knowing Christ as my Lord & Savior than not to believe in anything.  I am compelled to believe in what Jesus did here on earth.  I understand religion gets in the way of a lot of things in this world, but to simplify EVERYTHING to a minute detail, I would follow Christ to death than to not follow anything at all.  Jesus did everything good, right and perfect.  How can you not be compelled to follow Him.  How can you not believe in what he said and did.  I’m not asking you to believe in what I’m saying.  I’m asking you to ‘taste and see that He is good!’

Man has gotten the equation wrong, History has proven that.  But, let’s not make excuses for ourselves as to why we don’t want to follow or be a Christian.  Do not look unto man as an answer to or for guidance.  Read The Gospels in the Bible to find out more about this man named Jesus.  He is our author and perfecter of our faith.  Learn about who he is in Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.  These are the Gospels and they will show you the way.  For Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life.  The Resurrection!  Amen and Amen!

Prayer can do anything that God can do.  –  E.M. Bounds

The question is, do you believe that?  Scripture tells us to ask and believe!  Don’t ask for something and not believe…why did you ask then if you didn’t believe?   Of course, to ask for something in what God would grant is right according to His word, don’t ask for something that is bad or unscriptural.   Do remember that His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than ours as well.  He knows what’s best for us, but asking is still important as we are spending time in prayer and communion with Him.

Thought:  Let’s check our motives and desires and reasons that we ask for something in prayer before we ask it.

Blessings!

more insight into tolerance…

We are in a battle for what is right and what is not in America.  Currently, what is right, is what ‘feels good’ and not what is moral.  What is right is ‘to each his own’ and not ‘the 10 commandements’.  Where do we go from here?

Is bestiality something in the near future where we say as Americans, that’s OK, because hey, to each his own?

Is incest something that is OK, because hey, it feels ‘right’?

I’m onto something…that is, we must have a limit to excess!  What is right to a narcissist is not to what is right to a conservative and vice versa.  Where do we find a common ground?  Where is it that we say enough is enough?

The Bible gives us a clear and healthy guide to living.  The reason people don’t like or believe or follow the Bible, I’m convinced, is that it DOESN’T FIT THEIR LIFESTYLE AND THUS people choose to turn a blind eye to it or say, I don’t believe in it because I don’t like the truth that is told in it.  It doesn’t conform to their personal way of thinking.

Scripture tell us to no longer be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  That is reading scripture and KNOWING and BELIEVING what it says.  If  you don’t know, how can you know?  Knowledge is power and scripture tells us that my people die for a lack of knowledge and zealousness without knowledge is bad.

Is Tolerance a Virtue? is the topic of this link and I implore you to read it.  It’s a short read that gives some insight into our current state of America and where we could be headed.  Let’s be diligent to know and not just think we know or believe something that anyone just said.  Having knowledge from what your parents or grandparents said to you growing up isn’t good enough anymore!  Knowledge is power and the more you know, the better off you will be.  Read your Bible today and study it.
