You must check out this website about our forefathers.  We as Americans, need to get back to the basics and remember why and what our forefathers did when they began this great Nation of ours.  Their Christian beliefs and faith guided them to create and found our country, including the many documents that were associated with the creation of the great U.S.A.

also check out this area of the website too.  Read what they wrote.  Amazing!!

U2 one of my favorite bands of ALL time sang on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial today in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King’s Birthday and in preparation for tomorrow’s ceremonies of a new change that he predicted would pass one day…and that day has arrived.

I blogger posted U2’s song dedicated to MLK and Obama and I thought it was totally powerful and awesome!!!

Pearl Harbor

Yesterday(December 7th) marked the 67th anniversary of one of the saddest days in US history.  The attack on Pearl Harbor.    I really wanted to say in this blog that I love my country and am extremely grateful for the lives of thousands of enlisted forces that have died for the great cause of country first motto and for their love for the United States as well.  I don’t want to ever forget this day nor forget 9/11 either.

Thank God for strong leadership that is needed in times of war to make decisions that you nor I want or would like to make.  It takes a strong leader and constitution to make those decisions.  Let’s pray that our future can be a bright and hopeful one that doesn’t put political correctness or popular opinion in the forefront of decisions that need to be made for the better of all.

Keep in mind that there hasn’t been another attack on our soil since 9/11 and I believe that is because we will not stand by or handle lightly anyone that tries to attack us here at home.  I think taking the fight to them is a decision that will be looked on by future generations as a correct one.  I pray that it’s so.   Passiveness is not tolerable when terrorists are on the aggressive.  Just like Pearl Harbor, we had to retaliate and just like 9/11 we had to retaliate.  Otherwise, we are looked upon as weak and open to anyone coming here and attacking us more on our soil and that just won’t be.

God Bless these United States of America.  Land of the Free and Home of the Brave!

history has been made…

History was made last night as the nation’s first mixed-race, black and white mother and father respectively, was elected President of the United States(POTUS).

Historically, this is great for our nation to move forward and past a history that is tarnished with race issues.  Humans/Humanity is NOT Perfect and if it was we wouldn’t need Jesus.  Again, man is not perfect, and there isn’t a country around the world, nor government around the world that is perfect or right or just or has a untarnished past/history.

We as a country, need to move forward with more Love toward our fellow man, as Jesus taught us, and less with hatred towards each other, as the devil wants.

I don’t think any POTUS can solve these issues.  It is up to us a people and nation to move past these issues and love more, not a POTUS.  If we expect the POTUS to get this country to love more and bring unity, then we are expecting more than we can even expect of ourselves.  It is wrong to expect and put all our hopes, dreams and aspirations on one man.  The POTUS elect has a long history that comes with the job not just the last 8 years, but 232 years of These United States being a country and having a President.

We need to look at ourselves as individuals to make a change and be better.  Again, not putting or making one man try to live up to expectations that are impossible to live up to.  It starts with the HUMAN in the mirror, you and me, to make a country great, a nation prosper and make this country a better place to live for us and our children and our children’s children.

I love my country, the United States of America, and I think this is the BEST country in the world, PERIOD!  I have been around the world and seen what other countries have and offer and seen how lower class, middle class and upper class live and there is NO comparison to what we have here as a nation.  I think the world is a beautiful place, but THE USA is home for me and always will be, no matter how pretty and nice another country might be that I visit.

Let’s help make this President elect one that can continue a long history and tradition, in the likes of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, to empower and enable a nation to be better and be THE USA that we all know and love.

9/11 aka Patriot’s Day

I wanted to say a big “Thank You” to all our troops at home and abroad that are fighting for our freedoms that we truly enjoy here in the Great USA!

My wife and I went to NYC in December of 2005.  We got to see ground zero.  It was a big hole the size of at least a city block, in the middle of huge buildings all around.  It seemed like a very sad place.  It was eerily quiet around there.  There were pictures of people, places and things to come posted on the fence that closed off the entire site.  Just very sad.

I pray that nothing like that ever happens again on our soil here in the US.  I love my country and what it has done for me.  It is sad to know that people are brain-washed to thinking that we want anything more than to help others around the world be better countries.

God Bless America, the land of the free and the home of the brave!
