Redeeming the Time

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.  Ephesians 5:15-16

I read ‘Exerpiencing GOD, day-by-day’ written by the Blackaby brothers.  The book is a devotional and a journal to write in(of course I use this as my online journal).  The heading for this reading was ‘Redeeming the Time.’

The point of the reading was to express how important our time is.  Not to let time just fall away from us daily.  But instead, make the most of every opportunity of every day and hour and minute.  The opportunity is of course to praise God all the time and to bless others when the opportunities arise.  Not to be selfish with our time, but to spend it wisely.  What are you doing with your time?

Blessed Father, help us to use our limited time we have here on earth wisely.  In Jesus name.  Amen.
