Psalm 23

Great scripture to memorize and burn upon your heart.  Read it and practice saying it back to yourself over and over and ask God for His wisdom to help you memorize the entire Psalm.  It’s a great way to get started and familiarize yourself anew with His word in this New Year and Decade.

“Goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life”  Psalm 23:6

  1. To be honest, while it shouldn’t, I was blessed enough to come from a very large family – as far as generations, which resulted in many funerals and while it really shouldn’t, when I hear this Psalm, it makes me sad, which is probably wrong, but it just reminds me too much of how many people I’ve lost.

I do love Psalm 15, which to be honest again, was my sorority’s Psalm, and to this day I still have it memorized because it really hits the nail on the head of how I believe and try to live, if that makes sense. 🙂
