So Blessed!

I of course attribute it all to God foremost & then my beautiful wife who has made my life a pure joy!  Amazing how great life can be when you are with the right person. It so makes all the difference.

God & my Christian walk has been a treasure. Finding my faith has filled me with so much hope and confidence that no matter what happens in my life, Jesus is right there with me every step of the way. What a comfort that is & peace of mind.

Thank you Abba Father for being too good to me.

Expected birthdate is somewhere around July 31st or August 1st.

GOD is so good and we give Him thanks for this blessing.

Please keep us in your prayers for a healthy baby.

My beautiful wife and I got back from a fantastic trip to Seattle for Christmas.  We spent 6 full days there and saw the space needle, ate at some fantastic restaurants, had a Latte at the first Starbucks EVER and walked all over town. We also visited Bainbridge Island and got there on a ferry, It was very pretty! We also went to Vancouver, Canada B.C. for a day trip and boarded a train there and back which took about 4 hours each way. We visited the Aquarium there because Heather loves all Aquarium’s and then visited Gastown where we purchased some souvenirs and had some lunch. What a great trip it was and was nice to get away and recharge too!

We stayed home on NYEve because it’s rookie night - Rule #1 and secondly because we’re not in the mood after a long trip to throw a party or want to drive around town because of rule #1.

Today is my first day back after almost 11+ days off which were fantastic. I enjoyed spending every minute with my lovely wife and wished we had more time together, as usual.

This year is gonna be a great year, I’m so optimistic and feel great about what the future has in store for me and my family.  The very positive thing going so far is that I do have a job starting this year, whereas last year that wasn’t the case for me. PTL!!

I pray for many blessings upon you and your families this year as we hope to have a more positive approach towards what the future holds.  I know I look to keep the momentum going from what a great second half of 2011 was for us and take that into this New Year!

God is good!

That’s my issue with ‘Black Friday’ and the Christmas season in America today. It’s not about Jesus, it’s about monetary items, it’s about selling and advertising and capitalizing on the holiday rather than celebrating the Real reason for the season.  Understandably, the devil wants us to avoid the Real reason and get us distracted and focused more on a present to give or receive than worshipping Jesus and celebrating his birth some 2000 years ago.

I don’t focus on gifts anymore these days as I once did when I was a child. Nor do I give gifts to family members as I once did either. To me it’s giving back to charities and spending time with family and thanking God for the Best gift of all – the one and only true son of God, Jesus, the Christ child, the Messiah, the Saviour of the world!

So when your opening and unwrapping your gifts on Christmas morning, remember, the best gift of all has already given us the best he has, the best gift of all, his life for our sins.

Thank you Jesus and Happy Birthday!

Each one will come true in 2012:

1. The Bible will still have the answers.

2. Prayer will still work.

3. The Holy Spirit will still move.

4. God will still inhabit the praises of His people.

5. There will still be God-anointed preaching.

6. There will still be singing of praise.

7. God will still pour out blessings upon His people.

8. There will still be room at the Cross.

9. Jesus will still love you.

10. Jesus will still save the lost.

God whispers in your soul and speaks to your mind. Sometimes when you don’t have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at you. It’s your choice: Listen to the whisper, or wait for the brick.

Her parents stayed until sunday and we enjoyed the entire time they spent with us.  We went to the Renaissance Festival on Sunday and got to see the funniness that it is. It was their first time to one, heather and I went last year and enjoyed it again.  This was the last weekend for the Ren Fest as they call it until next year. The weather was cold and windy and it’s welcomed as we have enjoyed a looong summer of heat.

Unfortunately I’m back at work writing this and it’s all another wonderful memory of good times with family.  This was Heather and mine first Thanksgiving married and it was wonderful.  Looking forward to many more wonderful memories together!!

My birthday was fun and I celebrated my 1 month anniversary of being married on my birthday too – at Fogo De Chao- a great Brazilian Churrascuria!!

I look forward to the month of November and celebrating with my in-laws Thanksgiving too.
